At the Airport
Our flight has been delayed by an hour at SFO which means we’re now going to have an unplanned 6-hour layover in chicago. To kill time, I’m trying to stealthily observe others. One striking thing: the men tend to be well dressed but many, if not most, of the woman are wearing pj bottoms or loungewear. Wonder why that is?

I expected a response but I was caught completely off guard. Who knew uggs elicit such intense feelings in people. Luckily for me, everyone has been really nice about my hatred of Uggs. Anyway, if you dislike Uggs, check out this site.

Ugh...Uggs
I’m going to take an unpopular stance and admit that I absolutely HATE UGGS. It’s no coincidence that their name sounds a lot like a groan. Vanity Surfing Gets Me No Where
The other day I joked on Facebook that my husband suggested I change the name of the blog to “Mom Whore This” because I could probably rake in the cash for a lot less work than with Alice and Isa. Many of my friends agreed in a ha-ha kind of way. So what do I do at 11pm when I should either be sleeping or finishing my work? I vanity surf “Mom Wore This”. And what did I...

And If Your Kids Like Pirates
You may want to check out this week’s “The List” from Alice and Isa. Probably want to skip the Buccaneer though. *  Pirate Supply Store – 826 Valencia Street in the Mission - This is a store that must be experienced. Pirates, dysentery cures, lard and fun for all ages. Added benefit - all proceeds go toward the 826 Writing Center. * Barbary Coast Trail - Trace the old shore...
